Dyvo.ai is an AI-based product created by Uptech in partnership with a no-code development studio, Sommo. The idea was simple: give users a fast way to turn selfies into high-quality AI avatars for social media, dating apps, gaming profiles, and personal branding.
The project was launched during the first major wave of consumer AI products, when demand for AI-generated visuals was growing fast. Speed mattered, but so did product quality. Users expected results that looked realistic, creative, and worth sharing.
Our team moved quickly from concept to release. In less than a month, we launched Dyvo.ai on iOS and Android. The app offered dozens of avatar styles, a smooth mobile UX, and a privacy-focused experience.

When Dyvo.ai started, AI avatar apps were appearing almost daily. Delays could mean early demand and visibility loss. The team needed to validate the idea quickly and release a polished product before the market became overcrowded.
Solution
We used a lean product approach with no-code tools, a focused scope, and fast decision-making. This helped the team move from idea to launch in less than a month while keeping quality high on both iOS and Android.
Generating avatars was not enough. Images needed to look attractive, recognizable, and worth posting online. Poor likeness, visual artifacts, or weak styles could reduce trust and hurt retention after the first use.
Solution
We ran multiple experiments with models, prompts, and generation settings to improve output quality. This helped produce avatars that looked closer to users, reduced common AI issues, and created stronger reasons to return.
Avatar generation depends on GPU power, and user growth can quickly increase infrastructure costs. Buying hardware early was expensive and risky, especially for a new product still testing demand and conversion potential.
Solution
Instead of purchasing GPUs, we used on-demand cloud infrastructure through Runpod.io. This allowed the team to scale processing capacity when needed, reduce idle costs, and keep the business model more efficient.
Users had to upload multiple selfies before receiving results. That creates hesitation, especially with AI products using personal images. Without trust, many users would leave before completing onboarding or making purchases.
Solution
We designed a clean onboarding flow and positioned privacy as a core product value. Clear UX, smooth upload steps, and a privacy-focused experience helped reduce friction and improve confidence in the product.
Users can upload 14 or more selfies to train a personalized model. The upload process is simple and guided, helping users prepare the right photos and start avatar generation without confusion or unnecessary steps.


After upload, the app creates personalized AI avatars in less than an hour. Users receive stylized portraits based on their photos, turning a complex AI process into a fast and accessible mobile experience.


Dyvo.ai offers more than 50 styles, from realistic profile photos to fantasy and cyberpunk looks. This variety gives users more reasons to explore the product and generate avatars for different platforms.


Users can download their generated avatars in 2K and 4K quality. This makes the images suitable for social media, profile photos, printing, and other personal or professional use cases.

The app supports quick in-app payments on mobile devices. Users can complete purchases in a familiar way, which reduces friction during checkout and supports smoother monetization of the product.
